Strypes' relationship with ASML dates to the early 1980s — pre-spinoff Philips era. The flagship engagement: a Sun Solaris→Linux migration and roughly 100 person-years moving ASML's lithography software from 32-bit to 64-bit. In November 2025, the work continued with the ASML Agility Award for the Twinscan Parameter Monitoring System (TPMS) — real-time predictive maintenance on machines with 100,000+ actuators and sensors.
